This year’s AMMP conference will be held in Cambridge/Boston from April 9-11, 2010.  It will be jointly hosted by Boston University School of Medicine, Boston University School of Management, Tufts University School of Medicine and The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University. All conference activities will take place at the Hyatt Regency Cambridge. The event will feature a student poster competition. Abstracts must be submitted by December 31, 2009 and limited to 250 words. Topics may include health systems, economics, enterprise, policy, entrepreneurship, or other issues relevant to physician management. Faculty will also be able to present posters in order to describe unique features of their programs and experiences but their posters will not be judged. More information is available on the conference website.

Friday, April 9, 6P – 8P:  cocktail reception
Saturday, April 10, 8A – 5P:  main conference
Saturday, April 10, 5P – ?:  optional special evening event!
Sunday, April 11, 8A – 12P:  student and program director break out sessions

Conference registration fees:
Student:  $25
Others:  $125

      Criticism may not be agreeable, but it is necessary. It fulfils the same function as pain in the human body. It calls attention to an unhealthy state of things.
